    Big Problem need help

So I just did a small tune up. New fuel filter, air filter, 565 STI Injectors, and spark plugs, now it runs real well until about 5000 rpm then it cuts hard. Like makes a bucking motion. Is this my fuel pump? Have not installed the walbaro yet please help.

Probably the injectors. Kind of odd that your running larger injectors and soon to be fuel pump with no EM. That plus CAI and boost controller = engine go boom.

I'm not even going to go into the CAI debate, it's a dead horse. Hopefully the reflashed ECU takes into consideration the larger injectors and fuel pump. If you had a utec I would say scale the injectors but that's out of the question.

It's up to you if you want to keep the CAI. Stock box is good for a LOT of power. Some people have used intakes with no problems but if I were going to get an intake it would be a short ram and not CAI. If they can tune for the mods then that's great, it's just that most people don't upgrade the injectors/pump unless they are upgrading turbos. I'm just thinking that right now, not being tuned for the injectors, is the problem. However, maybe someone else who has done fuel mods can help. Oh and what plugs/heat range did you get?
