This is nice, twisty run. It starts just southwest of Eagar/Springerville (northwest of Alpine) from 260. It is approx 20 miles oneway.
First half is through the mountains/forest and is nice and twisty. Afterwards it opens up into some hills with some high speed sweepers and some tight corners.
It ends at Big Lake. Then you have to turn around and head back.
1. The pavement is worn and slick. If you go off the road, it is going to hurt.
2. There are cattle guards all over the place. Make sure you slow down (quite a few are in or right after a turn) for them else it is going to hurt.
3. Watch out for the cattle (and their turds) if you head down the last stretch to the ranger station. It would really suck
