This more towards Southern California?
Looks cool. I like how the train tracks do a loop. must be some serious elevation change. Haven't been to tehachapi in forever time to check it out.
This is about 35miles east of Bakersfield.
Yeah that RR loop is cool. You can see the train overlap itself. I think it was to solve the elevation problem. If it wasnt there, there would have been a problem climbing.
try the Little Tajunga canyon run from foothill north to Sand Canyon and the 14 Freeway.
20 miles of hair raising stuff with little to no traffic. Warning: Do not attempt alone. If you F-up, and go over the edge, you will rot for weeks, as there is next to no traffic up there.
Still one of the greatest drives in So-Cal.
This is one run that is just made for the WRX.

The Tehachapi Railroad Loop is a real historic deal to RR buffs. People come from many places to see it.
I think Tujunga is the way you spell it, not Tajunga (Taahunga).
Yup it is So. Calif.
I'm not 100% positive since I was driving and purposefully NOT looking at the map, but I think we were on this road during the last ITN road rally. I remember seeing some guy taking pictures of the train and think WTF? as I flew by.
Lot's o' good row-ads in the area.
