You go out from Bozeman towards 4-corners, past 4-corners, then take a left @ the bridge along the river. Following this road will take you back to the highway after about 10 miles or so. Not a long drive, but it takes awhile because of certain characteristics which shall be enumerated below.
Let's start out with a nice "impassible" warning sign:

Think I can make it? (btw - it's hard to tell but those ruts were about 6" deep or more!)
Here's a turn you wouldn't want to take @ 80 - this turn angles back, making it a little more than 90-degrees:
The whole road is twisty, and there were many various hazard/warning signs, but here's a final pic: (Didn't take this at over 15mph though because it's a fishing hole w/a bridge so there are people around at all times)
nice pics! Browsing this thread makes me wanna offroad more and more!

I think what adds to the atmosphere is all the BB Gun dents in the sign, characteristic of being out in the middle of nowhere.

You've never shot a sign with a shotgun, have you? The nice thing about hunting road signs is that the season lasts year round![]()
Orange cones fear me.
Thats sign was not shot with a shotgun.. It's to big holes.. Besides the shotgun would probatly not go trough the sign.. I'm guessing some kind of handgun.. Looks bigger than 9mm also![]()
Well I guess it doesnt matterI never gone roadsign hunting with a shotgun (oh yes I did once) but I have shot signs with both handguns and assult rifle
LOL... But thats not as funny as driving my rex on some twisted mountan roads..

Browsing this thread makes me wanna offroad more and more! What is it with north americans and labeling roads that are not paved as not being roads at all? lol. This is not off-road, this is gravel road, and that water part is a quite bad mud/gravel road.
why shoot them(signs) when you can just run them over???lol![]()
(hint:should have a brush guard to preform this)
