CA: Mt hamilton rd

this is a fun road. i live just down the street from where it begins off of alum rock. i remember like a year ago i saw maybe anywhere from 80-100 something subarus driving up alum rock. i assumed they were going up alum rock to mt hamilton. it was a memorable site.... a group of like 30 would go by then a red light then the light would turn green and another 30 or so. i watched this for like 10 min and like 5 lights. it was crazy.

Mt. Hamilton is an awesome drive. I live right next to quimby, the other road over the mountain. When you saw 80 - 100 cars go by I'm pretty sure you saw all the cars for the Mt. Hamilton meet that is put on by the guys on i-club. I haven't been to it yet, but its supposed to be awesome and is on july 4th I think.

im going to have to check out i-club. that sounds like alot of fun going up hamilton in a pack.

I've never been up there before but it sounds pretty good. I'm going to try to make it to the Mt. Hamilton meet this year its supposed to be huge.

ive driven it once before in my old car (buick regal), all the way to the observatory.. it took forever but it was fun. i have not driven it yet in the rex but ill probally go to the meet

I've heard of it many times and been wanting to drive up there. How do you get there, coming from San Francisco?

take either 101S to 680 N then exit alum rock and go east

or..

take 280S this turns into 680N then exit alum rock its not easy to miss.

I believe it is the 16th, at least that's what it said over on i-club.

i was just on i-club and it turns out they mooved the meet to the 23rd because of horses or something like that.. another week will be a century but its ok i guess.. well anyways its now on the 23rd
