just moved to Central IL anywhere fun?

As the title states, looking for fun roads in central IL. Just moved here...and i have not found much. Anybody around this area, or know of any fun roads?

I grew up outside Peoria, I still make it back once a year. There are some out there but sadly I don't remember any names. Usually in the hillier wooded sections along rivers/creeks. It has just been too long since I was a teenager just trying to get out of the house. They just sort of appear out of the corn and trees, like a mirage or an Amish Brigadoon, and then return to straight flat grids with corn as far as the eye can see.

Sorry I'm not really any help with specifics but I do remember having a blast on some great twisties for hours. They are out there. An old fashioned paper atlas with details might be somewhat helpful

On another note, I have been in Central OK for almost 2 years and still haven't found a bend in a road yet. Every road is as straight as an arrow and has a stop sign every mile max and a perpetual state of no passing zones.

I used to take US 150, from Champaign to Bloomington, that got pretty entertaining in places. The problem with Central Illinois is that it is so F L A T. Getting over near Danville, or downstate will get you into some terrain that can be promising. At least more promising than the farm-to-market, section-bordering roads found around the middle of the State. As Rummie mentioned, anything that follows a creek or river might produce some decent bends and elevation changes.
