This drive is aprox. 170 miles. It has been one of the most amazing drives I have been on. One other would have to be the i90 through Montana. I found this youtube video a while ago and thought I would share.

I lived in Homer from 94-96 and remember driving to Anchorage during the summer months. Tried it once in the fall and couldn't get far even with chains. We pulled into Seward a few times also and I did the drive from Seward to Anchorage once for parts. In 96, I did the entire Alaskan Highway. Most of the roads were still dirt at that time. Crazy but it was a nice drive.
