I'm sure I'd have more fun on US129, but this one's a little closer...

#2 is the closest at about 7 hours away. A small detour if I go visit my sister though...

There are a ton of roads you could list in CO in addition to the ones they already have. A lot of the forest roads out here could make that list. The only downside is pretty much every single one of them can have pretty serious and unexpected potholes, drainage humps, or erosion ditches that could really do some damage!

man closest is 7, thats about 14 hours for me. id like to get back to the pelican rapids, mn. and mapelwood state park. lots, and i mean lots of banked twisties that you can shut the gps off and just get lost. then, pop apon a small lake resort town and refuel and go another direction till your right hand has blisters from shifting. it was a lot of fun, wish i had more time to explore!
when my friends come up, i hear, "you sold the camarrrroooh.....HOLY BLEEP A WRX!"
Ya has that effect on me too.
