Going to Sacramento for a day then heading over to Vegas, any good roads throughout southern NV? I really wanted to check out the nevada test site but you're only allowed in there via tour bus

, any other similar places like that to check out down there that won't get me shot by the military for checking out?

What do you want to do? How much time do you have?

Mount Charleston is a decent lil drive with the only green you'll see in Vegas
Valley of Fire has some nice sights with a bunch of twisties,
And Red Rock which is a short drive with a bunch of hiking spots

Those will pretty much be the only decent spots to drive out here

just looking for some interesting places to check out with crazy stuff, something like the nevada test site, ghost towns and stuff like that. Plus some twisties would be nice

If you have a whole day, check out Delamar.
Delamar - Nevada Ghost Town

Edit: I don't recommend a lowered vehicle for this trip, but it is well worth it if you can make it up there.
