    Google Earth

    Hey everyone, just lettin you know that theres a thing on google called google earth. Download that and you get satellite images of the whole earth and REALLY close up. You can check out alot of roads that way too so figured i would let you all know to give it a try.

    I've heard about it, but never had the chance to download it and play with it until I saw his thread. Anyways Google Map is pretty neat. Did a zoom of my house, pretty scarry how good it is. I think they update the satelite images pretty offend cause I never park my Scooby in the driveway, but I did last Friday, and the image I saw on the satellite showed my Scooby!

    Its old.Go to the city, and you actually see close up of the WTC ground zero.
    Also my house was rescently dormered but its a shot of my house back when it was a cunicle and had a playground in the back.

    EDIT:
    to the guy above me, top left bar, type in

    just adress,city,state,zip
    finds everything

    Some satellite images are newer than others. I can tell that Jacob's Field in Cleveland is a newer picture from the last 2 years and Cleveland Browns Satdium is since 1999. They use a bunch of satellite images and put them together, some from a few months ago, some a few years ago.

    Yeah, google Earth is pretty cool. Depending on where you live you can get such detailed pic that if you know what to look for you can make out the model of car.

    I can pull up my brother in laws house and clearly see his Red Ford Ranger pickup in the driveway. Heck, you can even see the pond he put in the back yard and the basketball goal in the street...it's amazing!

    I love google earth. I found the Ferrari factory and you could see the F1 trucks.

    i think most of the pictures were taken at different times, cause some are more recent than others.

    i cant belive i cant get dl it for mac!! wtf.
