Whats the difference with the version 1's because the two that i have left on the front looks like a flat black with red lettering. Also will it be possible to just get a set of 2 mudflaps because it looks like when i bought the car, the mounting holes were ripped in the rear (assuming that the mudflaps got ripped off somehow by the previous owner). Would i still be able to install this and hold well with the holes ripped?

"We are fass in the slow lane and slow in the fass lane" life is way too short to live it too seriously so take your time and drive slow...besides peeps gotta see you in your ride right? let's cruise yo!!
The version 1 and 2 are identical in color and material. Sometimes the direction they cut the urethane can give it a slightly flat black appearance, also if they are dirty they can look flat black. The version 2's are cut slightly different to allow for better coverage (but also stick out a bit more) and the version 2's come with big metal mounting brackets to help increase the strength of the flaps.
Unfortunately we can't break up a set to sell only 2 for the 08+ STi. If we had an extra set that had one missing or something then we could but at this time we cannot. We do have some extras for other models but none for the 08+ STi in v1 or v2.
As for installing with ripped holes you might need to fashion some additional support. The easiest way that we would do this is to run a longer bolt with a washer on both sides of it through the flap and the torn hole then tighten it down. If this does not work you can always drill an additional hole in the flap and the car near the mounting hole then run a bolt through that with washers to secure the flap. It is pretty rare that people tare these flaps off and it's almost always because they backed over something that pinched the flap between the object and the wheel.

Your price for the 08 UR wrx mud flaps are the same as the actual company that sells them on their website...What is my inclination to purchase these products from you as opposed to the manufacturer? I appreciate your statement that you will match any price, but you are not offering a benefit over the manufacturer. Also, I understand that you are a vendor of this site, which would lead me to think that you would discount the prices for the active participants here. Im not trying to be a jerk, but I feel this is a legitimate business related question.
I look forward to your response.
I believe that PRE was offering free shipping for these.. where as RA was not.
Shipping for mudflaps could be upwards of 20-25 bucks.
free shipping man!
Shipping would come out to around $15 for a set of flaps. A little more if you were on the east coast.
The price on the flaps is MAP (minimum advertised price) similar to how COBB Tuning's pricing is. We can't go lower than the MAP which just so happens to also be the MSRP of the flaps.
Also, if you accidentally order the wrong flaps (which happens) we will allow you to return them (you will have to pay for shipping and processing fees) Rally Armor and and the other major distributor will not take the flaps back at all. Basically, you order them from us and we take care of you!
