    Painting Sideskirts

I painted my sideskirts a few days ago. I got all the supplies for the at Paint World and found out how to do it from this thread. Your paint code is located on top of your driver's side strut tower.

A few things I might add about painting the sideskirts. If I were to do it again I would sand them first to get a smoother texture and I would add a few extra coats of clear coat. I would also not drop them during the drying process.

Looks like with the money you saved paying for them to be painted you got some sweet rims.

Not sure exactly what you meant but, yes it was in a spray can from pantworldinc. and it was the silver for my car. But the adhesion promotor and clearcoat were seperate.

im finishing up mine today... have 3 moe coats of clear to go on and then they'll dry for about 24-48 hrs. this was a fun and easy project and it only cost me like $68 and 2 days of my time... better than the $270 painted ones you can order.

I forget but I think the total was about 60 bucks for me. It only took me a few hours too.

total was 66$ after tax. I used about 1.5 cans of wrb, .75 can of clear coat, and .5 can of bulldog, so you can get away with 1 can of clear instead of 2. Save ya 6 bucks or so, lol
