    Wrong thread perhaps????

I have a WRX engine, so it is a 2.0L with 5spd WRX tranny.

    Stock TD04L @ peak 15psi.

Reflash ECU by local tuner for supporting mods.

I have not done dyno yet, unfortunately only 1 dyno shop here that has 4wd capability. So hard to find time (and the money).

As for BOV, people say it is bad, some say it is good. I believe as long as the EMS is tuned to have a BOV it will not do any harm. Putting a BOV on stock engine maybe different story. But I do not want to turn this thread into a BOV debate.

    Thanks for comments.

Well put! Way to shut em up before it gets outta hand...you're entirely correct with the tune

My buddy has the EXACT same setup...GC8 with an 03 WRX engine+tranny and a few supporting mods. He's running Stage 2 with his own tune using OpenSource...and he's running 12.2 in the quarter at 116mph...QUICK as hell

Oh! I never knew they change it, well I guess I am too concentrated on working on the 2.0L WRX platform as it is what I am using.

You learn something new everyday, that is actually great news as it opens new opportunity for us WRX tuners.

I guess I should post my mod list to make things more clear.

That is good reference for me as I am using the exact same engine, same year as well! What a coincidence.

I have never heard of opensource, is it standalone? piggyback?

I plan to use Haltech Standalone this year. Not a very popular EMS for the WRX or Subaru in general, I hope I can change that.

Thanks for the nice words again everyone.

You know how it is, keeping track of numbers makes things depressing

Just trying to enjoy it as it comes, of course monetary wise, I try to keep things cost to the lowest as we all do

OpenECU or Opensource...my brain is fried actually...but its basically like a DIY engine management flashing software you can run off a laptop. You can download maps and the software basically for free or you can purchase maps for like $25 bucks or so. The only thing you have to buy is the Tactrix cable that connects from your car to the OBD-II connector under the dash...basically works just like an AccessPort but costs about a 1/5 of the AP...many people use it around here in the Club actually and will swear by it...a lot better info on it in the Engine Management forum of course...

I've never heard of the Haltech....interesting...
