I bought this 2005 STi two days ago,and pick it up Monday.
Now my '04 SE3P (RX-8) can sit in the garage while I sort out the new whip.
(Am waiting on a Seibon CF trunk for the 8,to match the CF hood-)
I wasn't planning on buying an STi,I needed a 'winter car' with AWD,the 8 simply will not move for sh*t in the snow.
Modifications will begin shortly, and my friends tell me I'll dump the 8 in the spring and plow the cash into the STi,instead.
Time will tell, for now I'm excited to have two ridiculous top-ten whips in mah' garage!

Here's a few more pixxx of my 2005 STi.
All ordered and incoming: COBB Adjustable Billet Shifter & Bushing Kit, HKS Carbon-Ti cat-back exhaust,HKS Downpipe,HKS Intake(Stainless) Bridgestone Blizzaks @ 225/45VR17,PowerSlot Rotors & Hawk Ceramic Pads (All Wheels
I don't want to modify the front end,it's low enough (imo) already, the STi is my winter car,the RX-8 is the summer fun-mobile.
I'm going to color-match the CF trunk to the car,the CF hood came w the ride, and imo it'll look better matched-

you should run the radar detector wire down thru the center console. i ran mine from the clock out through the ashtray and connected it in the cig lighter and it looks great.
