    Hello everyone,

I'm a new owner and could not be happier.
I have always loved Subaru and only until recently I have come to a point that i can afford one.

Here is what i got. 06' WRX Wagon SP. Black leather interior. I LOVE it.

    Any suggested mods?

And here is one of my Wife's Car. Its kind of a Wagon as well.

    welcome aboard!

I'd start out slowly w/ mods- reading/researching as much as possible before actually buying- tons and tons of good info here on the board from mild to wild.

One of the best bang for the buck mods for the WRX is tires- handling (as well as braking) can be vastly improved on w/ just the simple addition of good tires.

Yeah I had planned on doing that until I recently found out that the company (and thus myself) will be moving from Austin, TX to Denver, CO.

I'm wondering now if i should wait before i buy new tires to see if i will require snow tires.

How about suggestions for initial go fast parts. as rice as it sounds, i do want a BOV. I've read that the HKS is one of the only BOVs that work well with the AT4.

the oe tires are fair in the snow (the AWD helps in that regard no doubt)- I'd personally opt for snow tires- too much grip is always better than not enough. if this is your first move to "snow country" then even more important

Can't help you w/ the bov- handling/braking is my forte I think there are probably no less than 20-30 BOV/BPV threads in the engine section

i would love to get into track racing time trials or whatever but i dont think an auto trans would be very good for that.

anyways thats not why i bought the car.

Actually there is one. Trainrex merges them all together.
