Ahh finally got the wheels and tires on the car today. 17x8 Rota Boost and 225/45/17 Falken Azenis RT615's. I also have Tein H-Tech springs on the car, and am very happy with the results so far.

WRB + Gold is definitely a winner (almost as good as white and bronze )

im getting confused, what would be the correct tire size from wall to wall for a 17x8? 205=8" yes? and i see some people with 7.5 with 225's which is almost 9" no?
    un poqito.

    It's fun... try it

although it would be nice (and make sense) if that conversion worked, but you cant work it like that. i believe the tire measurement is the width of the tread, not the width of the mounting area. i could be wrong, so someone please correct me on the detials.

    8" rims take 235's optimally.

7.5" rims take 225 optimally, some put 215's or 235's on theirs though. i've heard mixed recommendations for 235's on 7.5"s though

Yes, it's the width at the tread. A 235 will work reasonably well on a 7.5" wheel.

    Small udate on my wagon

Decided to step out on me at about 75ish MPH during a sealed hillclimb event when i was home last month...

    Combination of things...

-tyres (old, had been sitting for 6 months),
-suspension (was still in circuit spec, so was too low for a street event, so -maybe hit the bump stop causing it to pivot around on the front left)
-Was in 3rd place, with 1 run to go, and new I could knock 2 seconds off my time to challenge for 1st, and easily .75 of a second to claim 2nd, so maybe trying a little too hard...
    -bad luck
    -it was my time

Oh well, anyone in the shipping business, its a perfect time to ship it over as parts and transplant into a US GF Imprezza
