so i have an 02 wagon and i was gonna get ready to buy some rota subzeros with the toyo proxes 4's 215/45/17 and i was curious as to how much space would be left the tire and the fender on the front and back. the toyo has a lower height off of the wheel than what i have now and i basically didnt want it to look like the wagon is lifted but if it does i was also wondering if i should get lowering springs or coilovers?

The 215/45/17's are ~ .3" shorter so you'll increase the "gap" by that much over stock.

Only you can answer if it's too much gap

alrighty then, so then would i have to get the lowering springs that cover that difference and then some (im sure they do) because i was thinking about atleast getting it to a 2 to 3 inch space in between the tire and fender. what are good springs? and whats the difference than going with coilovers?

For an 02 the prodrive's do a nice job- not overly firm, modest but decent drop- designed to work w/ the oe struts.

Coilovers are nice is you have a very specific need and can articulate what that need is in terms of spring rates/damping/suspension travel/corner weighting- otherwise I would strongly suggest sticking w/ a "basic" strut/spring combo.

It's by Webasto. The original owner had it installed at the time of purchase through the dealer. I don't know much about the company, but I haven't had any problems with it yet - knok on wood. It looks very OEM inside and out. Closes automatically when ignition is turned off - very nice

acutally it does help SPhiNi, i also heard that the koni adjustable inserts go good with the prodrive springs because the prodrives tend to settle low and are soft or somthing like that? nice sun roof by the way, how much that set you back? cuz ive been thinking about one.

I've heard good things about the Koni inserts too. As for the price of the sunroof, I don't know. It was the previous owner that had it put in.
