What size tire could I wrap the 17x8's with? I am guessing 235/40/17? or could I go 245?

you can do 245's... depending on the offset of the wheel.

I'm planning on 245's on RPF1's (17x8s) myself.

So I'm trying to button down a decision on exhaust, and thought I'd ask fellow wagon owners what their thoughts are on their exhaust.

I'm looking for loud-ish, angled (flame on, it's what I want), but deep and no drone.

Is such a thing possible. I've asked every local Subie owner their thoughts on what they're running, and none had any experience with drone. Then again, they were all sedan owners.

So, is there an angled can exhaust that will not drone on me?

I will likely be stepping up to "stage 2" fairly soon, will be running K&N filter, silencer delete, and aftermaf at the intake side, and likely HKS turboback at this point. Any other thoughts on a less-drone-prone exhaust?

I have seen some wagons that look absolutely wicked with the rear bumper add-ons. I have a blobeye WRX wagon and can get the sedan add-ons. will they fit my wagon? Been asking everywhere, even at the local dealership but not even they knw.

To which add-ons are you referring? Likely sedan rear-bumpers will not fit the wagon, since the sedan body is slightly wider.

Its not actually the rear bumper i want to use, but the add-ons rather.

your probably talking about the aeroguards- the rear ones are specific to sedan or wagon, the fronts are universal- it's possible you could get the sedan ones to work, but it won't be plug/play like the wagon specific ones

aaahhhh okay thanx. yeah the aeroguards are specific for the wagon while the sedans have "wrap around" rear bumper add-ons.

I have a Lab and with the seats up there is little room for a dog that big, maybe for short trips only but certainly not enough room for a long ride. I have a 2011, not sure if there's more room in the older ones, I suspect not much more.

Wagons (2008+ are hatchbacks) have more rear cargo room than the hatches, though the hatches have more rear leg room. My 55 pound choc. lab (9 months) can fit comfortably in the rear of my wagon, though I never drive with her back there (she likes the windows)

Actually looks a bit more like Laguna Seca Blue. Either way it looks pretty nice.
