    Your going to need some kind of abrasive obviously. For light scratches I've had good luck with griots fine hand polish and meguiars scratch X. For deeper ones you'll probably need a random orbital buffere/ PC and the related perephenalia.

    I had a deep scratch about 3 inches long on my car and took it to a body shop and it looks brand new now. I paid like 40 bucks and they did a great job.
