i did it with dental floss on my old passat and it was real easy. BUT! the residue was a nightmare to get rid of.

i really REALLY want to take off the "subaru" word on the left side of my trunk , but i really REALLY dont want to go through that hassle again..

oh the dilemma.

btw - i cant seem to watch the vid, it says "url not found"

what method do they use in it?

hey bud. it only took me about 30 minutes for the whole process. just make sure that you have all the required items that is mentioned in the beginning of the thread and follow the directions.

hey, i had that same thing going through my head, "what if this crap doesnt work?", or "my paint is going to F up..". but after its was done and that i took my time following through. i was glad that it came out to be like it is, BARE NAKEDNESS!!!... ...

go for it.

Has anyone completely debadged their 06? I am wondering what's under the Subaru oval badge (the stars) in the middle of the trunk... I want it gone... Is it just a sticker type badge or could it possibly be attached by some other means?

I am about to do the exact same thing to my '06 and went to look at it this morning and unfortunately it looks as though it is attached by 2 hex bolts. I want my trunk lid totally debadged as well but i guess i will leave the "stars" badge on there so there are no holes.

use a kettle full off boiling water, works everytime and the residue will come off easily to.

You'll need to do body work (plug hole(s) and paint) to remove the Subaru star emblem from the '06/'07 trunk
