If there are rules against posting these links, my apologies in advance.

Alright so after searching here I have come to the conclusion that the reason I hated the HID's I installed in my charger, is because the projector from the eBay headlights I had were probably not meant for HIDs. I had DDM ballasts and bulbs and I can't really complain about those, they held up nicely, but the projector was crap.

So its looks like TRS and Subiespeed are the retrofit options for the 2015+ WRX most talked about here.

I see alot of people speaking about the TRS kit for the 2015+. Is this one of the universal kits, or the kit for the 2014 (below)?
I added the Subispeed kit as well to ensure I am looking the right thing.

I have never done a full retrofit, but it doesn't look to difficult, I have some experience in garage fab from previously owning a DSM.

If it doesn't say dot approved its likely not going to project correctly to give you adequate illumination it will also blind everyone coming at you and they will want to choke you.

I can't speak to those exactly but they should give information/dataconcerning department of transportation approval and the cuttoff of the light. Some lights are adjustable and they will show you how.
