    Holes in my Bumper !!

Ok, I know WRXs already come with 2 holes in the bumper BUT my dealer drilled an extra 2 holes to put their stupid dealer plate. I'm livid. Might sound superficial but this is a big problem for me. How the hell can I fix this??! Will a Cobb plate cover all these holes??

Wow that is super messed up. From the looks of it, a plate delete should cover it just fine but id take it to the dealer first and see if they will replace it.

I'd make the dealer get me a new bumper if you bought the car recently, theres literally no reason for them to have drilled two holes.

Same thing happened to me. I have no idea how dealerships think this is an acceptable solution to mounting a licence plate. Ummmm maybe use a bracket that mounts to the existing holes?

I didn't bother with contacting the dealer. Just got a delete instead. I wanted one anyways. =\

    Yes it will.

Unfortunately that is pretty standard practice at most places located in states where a front plate is required.

When I bought from Clayton Mantel at Ramsey Subaru (Ramsey NJ) he made sure they didn't do that.

I don't see why a dealer frame or plate doesn't match up to the pre made holes

The factory holes are for the JDM not USDM.

Yeah, the bumper comes with holes predrilled for JDM plates. The US plates are closer together. Mine also had holes drilled at the dealership and I have a Nameless 'delete' to cover all 4 up.

I know to some people it doesn't matter, and at least you can get the plate delete to cover it up, but this would just be unacceptable to me. It's a $30,000+ investment. If they drilled a hole in the hood, or the door, I'd surely make them fix it. So two in the bumper? Yep...

Make them fix the bumper, they should have the appropriate kit or adapter for the front plate if its required.
