The only problems I see happening are annoying installation trying to get the flanges perfectly matched and hunting down the right sized gaskets if it's not coming with the exhaust.
If you're buying it used buy new gaskets anyway
Also its pretty loud, I have a hatch so idk if its the same on a sedan or not but mine is pretty throaty, it sounds good but its a little annoying when driving long distances .
It depends its honestly just a few bolts and some wiggling and shoving . its an easy install in less than an hour. Some places could charge 50 bucks some maybe more. If you know how to work a ratchet and a floor jack you can do it yourself.
Check online and cross reference before you purchase. I saw that post too but I don't have the funds available right now. I want to chsnge out my turboxs
N1 is not very loud I have the dual sedan setup, with no silencers.
In the hatch it's loud and drones a bit.
Start with that, then save up for a catted Downpipe and an AP or protune.
And buy the gaskets from the dealer.
I recommend it highly.
Just my opinion.
The N1 race has a different mid pipe no resonator.
In a hatch they both drone.
If I had a hatch I'd get a straight exit system, none of the sideways muflers like the Q300 hatch.
I like the N1 and N1 race. Nice sound, even my Mom like the N1.
You should be able to get the gaskets from Invidia, if need be.
I think we can all agree that any modification to the exhaust is not going to be "quiet". I can't really see too much of a drone with just a catback. I'm completely catless and it's honestly not THAT bad. Longer highway trips do get a tad annoying
