    First experience with PlastiDip - WRX 2010 sedan

    Did it with the wheels on the car...went well but the masking takes a while.



    After 4 cans (5 coats) here it is:







    We'll see how long it holds

    Also did the emblems and chrome bar



    Next on the list : front grill and maybe chrome trim under the windows.

    Yes, I don't understand why it's so hard for people to remove their wheels. By the time you mask all that crap you could be half way done with painting the wheels already if you just take them off instead.

    I kinda realized it while doing it.

    I'm definetely removing the wheels next time I do it.

    besides the fact they look great. plasti dip seems to hold up well for the most part on wheel

    use a sponge or something soft and just be careful with them. i plastidipped my scoop and spoiler and just go over them carefully. plastidip typically holds up well
