What horror stories have you heard? Most recommendations on here have been for ebay and people are typically quite happy with them, depending on brand.

There's been a lot of discussion on this, here's one thread I found without even searching

    Front Lip

And here ya go, if this link works:

Are you talking about a front lip or a trunk lip spoiler (like a limited sti spoiler)

I see several different "styles" of front lip, mostly "CS", "V", VS" (not sure if V and VS are the same thing). From looking at pictures I can tell a *small* amount of difference (mostly on the way they look from the side). What is a good explanation of the differences?

The vlimited is flat whereas the CS style comes up on the sides and hugs the bumper

Ah, so it's all just in the height of the side part? Thanks!

I haven't heard these horror stories? Most people usually just supplement the hardware for better nuts and bolts, but that's the only complaint I've heard. Once the mold is set, front lips aren't hard to manufacture, so there shouldn't be many issues or a lot of variance, since they are likely injection molded.

2011 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX STI CS Style Front Lip | eBay

dude just go buy this cs style front lip with free shippings its cheap i just bought the same one and it fits perfect once u mold it around the bumper. would be easier if u had someone else there to help you hold it. i had my 3 year old son to help me so it prooved difficult but came out looking good. just remember you get what you pay for. it looks great, fits great. there are a few VERY minor imperfections on corners but not noticable at all. go for it!

I love watching the ridiculously over priced ebay auctions just in case someone clicks on it by accident. I cracked my bumper int he usually spots that 11-14 are prone too and just added a cheap front lip and luckily it didnt need to be painted just added a few coats of plastidip so far so goo.
