    2011-2014 DRL and hi beam bulb life.........

    2011, 2012 WRX folks running stock 9005's (or 9011 mods) what kind of bulb life are you getting?

    In theory, running halogen lights at low voltage is not ideal for bulb life.

    My stock 9005's after 800 miles or so show halogen gas deposition. Just curious what you guys are seeing.

    I have the same on my bulbs but I have them set as high beam only. If you want to save the bulbs then disable the the DRL but you may want to consider adding something else in its palce. I swapped them out for and LED bulb but the high beam output (as expected) was virtually useless.
