exhaust tips on impreza 2008 non turbo

hey guys, what is your take on exhaust tips? I have a impreza base model (non turbo) and I want a more aggressive sound. You think they are worth the money?

Exhaust tips? You mean the axlebacks?

I'm willing to bet they are the same things. You won't gain much in the way of aggressive sound with them.

    Tips? No sound gain
    Axleback? Slight sound gain
Midpipeback? A little bit more sound

I have a 2012 OEM Quadtip on my narrowbody, it serves the purpose for the price I paid, it just sounds VERY smooth, so no rumble except when it's cold. You would need UEL too.

    Hi,

    I live in aus.

My mate had a 2010rs uel headers high flow cat and a 2 1/2 Inch cat back. The gains I. The top end where absolutely great (over stock) pulls pretty good and sounds awesome. Also think about an Intake system to better help the flow = better top end.

He has since been defected though and just has the stock cat back on but still has the uel headers and it still has a rex rumble just quieter.

All counts on the rear muffler for the best note/sound.
