    Help me decide ('02 WRX)

I am considering a couple things for my car. here is my car as she sits now-

I am considering adding mud flaps- Yes or no?
Wingless, WRX wing, or STI wing?
Carbon fiber hood scoop- Yes or no?
blacked out tail lights- Yes or no?
sand and respray stock rims or save up and purchase new ones?
thanks for all of your help in advance.

Whatever your trunk lid is designed for, don't spend money

    Respray silver or subaru gold

Save money, don't spend it on the car. You'll already spend enough on insurance, gas, and maint. as it is.

That's silly advice. It's your money, do what makes you happy.

As far as the mods go... my opinion is that mudflaps make the back end of the car look great; wingless is rad, small wing looks ordinary, big wing on a non-sti seems a bit much; unpainted carbon fiber parts and especially hood scoops painted differently than the rest of the car look quite bad; blacked out tail-lights almost always look bad; the wheels look fine as is, but could look better.

I don't think it's silly. I've been in his shoes. 3 years later he'll say the same thing.

If the object was to save money, I doubt he'd be driving a WRX. Every one of us who owns one is already paying the fun tax.

Thank you Dr. Philosophy for debating me.

The message is to be frugal. I'm not saying you can't have spending money to have fun with. I'm saying spend smarter and be balanced, because I wasn't when I was his age and now I work hard for Ramen, Ketchup, and rent. Whereas if I had saved more when I was younger, I would've had it easier now, meaning greater financial security and more money to spend on booze and sloots and other college essentials.

    I'm not sure what you're accomplishing...or doing, debating me? I don't know.

It's just a suggestion. No one has to do what I say. It's his decisions.

Well thanks for you help (as for the ramen a good fried egg in the mix makes a world of a difference)
