Bugeye STI scoop with WRX splitter?

Wondering how big of a deal this is. Hit a deer a couple nights ago and the car is in the body shop for a new hood. I figured it was a perfect time to get a STI scoop for my bugeye (I've always loved these), but apparently the WRX splitter has a bit of a gap when used with the STI scoop. Rallysportdirect sells it as just the scoop... a Grimmspeed splitter is an extra $180. If it is a problem having the scoop without the matching splitter I won't go for it, but it would be nice if it wasn't a big deal.

It shouldn't be an issue, you just won't have any of the extra ducting fins the STI splitter has. Don't expect it to add much, if any extra airflow through the I/C.

    Gotcha.

I wasn't expecting any noticeable performance gains. I just really enjoy the look.
