    2011 chrome window molding

    anyone out there find a good way to make the hideous chrome window molding on an '11 wrx black? other then plasti dip, which is what I did last summer, i;m not really fond of it...

    do you know where i can purchase them? is it something as simple as a pin stripe that is the right width?

    There likely isn't a kit available, but any vinyl wrap or sign shop should be able to cover them. Call around to local places.

    No problem. If you do get them just take your time putting them on. If you have to pull them off they stretch out and won't fit. They are easy to do, but you just have to be patient. I have had mine on for almost a year now and they still look good.

    buy a roll of 3m black vinyl striping about 1/2"
    wide... run it along the top edge of the chrome... then use an excato knife with a steady hand to follow the bottom edge...

    I just used that link for premiumautostyling, went to check out and they never asked me for my credit card info but I still received a Receipt and order number... Not sure if anyone else has had the issue, if I'm going to get them for free and if I'm even going to receive them.

    That is odd. You might just call them to ask. Or wait and see what happens. I remember checking out just like any other online purchase...
