    Small ding on door

I've had my 13 WRX for barely two weeks and there is already a ding in my door. I always park 30 ft away from everyone at work and anywhere else a door banger could victimize my car. I figured out when my mother parked a little too close when dropping off my kids my daughter accidentally banged the door into mine a little bit. BTW I told my mother but I didn't say anything to my daughter since she is only 6 and would probably start to cry. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with small dents and if they can be repaired and how much cost is involved. Its really more like a slight crease and is virtually unnoticeable unless you're looking for it.

Research paintless dent removal in your area. I had a ton of little dings and dents in my rear door but I used PDR and it came out flawless

I seem to recall some similar threads a while back and there was a lot of anecdotal good press for PDR.

Honestly? I'd say just let it go. Over the ownership of your car, you'll get plenty of door dings and dents. It happens.

+1 for get used to it. I always try and park away from everyone else, while my gf parks at the nearest spot available in her POS Toyota. If you compare the 2 cars, obviously I have a bunch of dents from &^^%#@ who just dont pay attention, and she has none.

Yeah paintless dent removal should do alright for you as long as there is not big crease or anything.

But unfortunately as much as you love your brand new car, dings are gonna happen anyway no matter how careful you are.

+1 to everything mentioned. If it's going to irritate you day in and day out, find a reputable PDR shop local to you. If you can live with it, just ignore it and move on.

Find a Dent Wizard I just paid 50 $ for two fender dents. And they will come to you.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I will let it go for now because for some inexplicable reason nice new cars are a magnet for dings and dents. I think I will bide my time and wait for a few more dents before I have them fixed. Besides its so small I'm the only one that notices. True story when I bought my last car, a new chevy cobalt, a few days later I was driving down the road at night when someones big old hubcap came off and ran right up the side of my door. Then the next day a runaway shopping cart smashed into it down a hill. Watched it happen but couldn't make it in time. So I count myself lucky that all I have is a tiny ding.

That would not be an option in this area.
