Which hod scoop splitter do i have?

Figured this would be the right place to post since it has to do with the exterior scoop but anyhow..

On my 2002 i have the Sti hood scoop that came from the dealer for $261 (says it on the original car window sticker)

The question is, do i have the stock WRX splitter or do i have the jdm sti splitter. With the price of $260 i think that i have the stock wrx splitter with the added sti scoop, since thats around what the scoops go for. So did the dealer cheap out and give me just the sti scoop with stock wrx splitter orrrrr did they include the sti splitter with the scoop for that price.

The fitment seems fine so im not sure which i have. figured someone may know.

If it seals on the WRX intercooler, it's a standard WRX splitter. An STi splitter on a WRX intercooler would not be a good plan since it would not seal.

    A pic would help.

But if you do have the STI one, you would have the splitter as well as bellows. They are an additional $200 or so, so unless you have the STI TMIC, most people skip it.

And by pic I mean hood open from under side.

Also, STI splitter should have the hole for the IC spray nozzle.

    Searched, tryna help:

Your splitter ("grille duct"?) doesn't look like any of the pix I've found. On the left of your pic (facing it, then; passenger side) the edge of your splitter has a bend (did you do that or did it come like that?). None of the splitter pix I've found have that bend, just a straight edge. And you don't have the cross-hatched grille to the left of it (like the 3rd link below). I think you've got some kind of home-jobber on that.

It honestly looks like the dealer took a stock WRX splitter and modified it to fit a taller scoop, Mark.

I think maybe your bugeye has an 04-05 stock scoop. Found a couple:

    STi Hood Scoop - NASIOC
    scroll down to post #10

    and
How to: modify an 04/05 WRX scoop to fit and look proper on a Bugeye - NASIOC

(but my '04's scoop has fins. so now I'm wondering if I've got an STi scoop )
