    08 STI Front Bumper

I need/want to replace my stock wrx bumper w/fogs due to a couple large cracks in the center of the lip and missing toe hook cover. This came about, because I wasn't aware of this particular patch of un-plowed parking lot was hiding large chunks of ice beneath the fresh layer of snow. After a couple months of cringing every time I saw this damage, I decided I needed a new front bumper! I really like the stock 08 STI front bumper, so I was wondering if anyone has done this swap or if anyone knows if it'll fit with little to no modification?

Here's a picture of the damage:

i believe 08+ sti and 11+ wrx bumpers fit identically.

if you do a google search and look for an aftermarket bumper, it shows all those years as being interchangeable.

I did run a google search or two before I even joined this forum, and was still uncertain with the results I found. So, I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone has tried or knew for sure, but I plan on doing this mod anyway. So I may just have to post results after I complete it.

Okay, so 300-400 was about right for some of the prices I've seen while shopping around. Is my information right about that being a VIS racing sports front bumper or did someone else make it?

It's not too important, now just gotta find one to buy and paint. Thanks for reassuring the fitment!

MY11+ WRX is the widebody, and has a different shaped grille, so it won't just bolt on.

The above poster confirms that it does bolt on. He stated he has one on a 2013 wrx

For WRX's the 08-10 won't match with the 11+, but the 08+ STI had the widebody already.
