    2011 WRX Headlight Retrofit question.

Now my questions is to people that have done the retro fit using Morimoto Mini D2S projectors.

Did you have to shave/file part of the projector it self to make it fit?

Here is where I am having the problem.

Note: I'm working to the driver side headlight in the pic.

The corners will need to be cut out, when I ordered the retro-quik package from TRS they came pre cut and I had no problems with fitting them. I did however need to buy new bolts/nuts to attach the new projectors since they cannot be screwed into like the stock projectors.

Thanks for responding. I just wanted to make sure before i started hacking away. I know I need to get new screws and nuts. Do you remember what size screws you used?

Not sure exactly, but I used this guide as a reference:
