    TurboXS CBE leaking

I've been trying to correct this for a while now. Where the gaskets are supposed to be...at the axles and before... still trying to bolt them on right to keep from having a small gap and leaking. I do have the gaskets...I've tried repositioning the exhaust by loosening and retightening...even using a vice-grip to keep the pipes together so i can tighten the bolts and nuts down, but somehow they still slip apart enough at the bottom.
Anyone have any ideas how to correct this without spot welding?

Are you recreating the lip of the gasket every time (or are they those garbage flat ones that are shiny)? Are you replacing the gaskets?

My advice would be to take the entire exhaust apart, and recreate the lip of the gasket and try to seal it as best as possible by alternating what bolts get tightened (don't do too much of one over the others). If that doesn't work, the supplied gaskets may be crap, and you could try something like the Grimmspeed 3" gasket, with the same tightening method.

ya i bought some cheaper shiny ones online. i think for all three it costed about 17 bucks.
and the tightening method you're saying is say do the one at the left axle..then move towards the midpipe....and then the right muffler?
