    2013 WRX Front Lip

    Hi guys.

Looking for a front lip to add to my 2013 wrx / hb / swp.
I most likely want to get polyurethane due to price, decent durability and wont QQ if I crack it. Also I'd like it to somewhat counter match with my rear.
I like the CS style, however I really like the curves of the Type-VR but haven't been able to find it in polyurethane.

    Here are some references:
    CS

    Type-VR

Really wish I could get this in polyurethane

Here is some what of a rep version of this in Polyurethane, but I think the front mid section pokes out way to much and looks weird.
    (from forcewerkz)

Any feedback would be great. Finding a polyurethane of Type-VR would be awesome.

These lips look out of place to me considering how much they bulge out. Nobody here likes the idea of that garage door sealer stuff? When it gets a little warmer out, I'm going that route myself. It's cheap, will not crack, absorb the impacts, will not sound like the bottom of car is falling off when scraping.

You may like the V-Limited. It doesn't bulge out as much as the ones above.

I have that style.. Paid $60 somewhere on Ebay.... Fit is decent for the price (I bought it to protect my bumper, which it has)... Supplied hardware kit is complete sh|t; I'd recommend buying some nuts/bolts/washers from your hardware store...

(you can see the gap where the hardware kit either fell off or started to stretch)

What exactly is the purpose of a front lip on our cars? A stylish accessory or does it help take on the impact when you bottom out?

The front lip on our car is like penguin bellies. You can slip and slide on it and not worry about damaging the important stuff.

I bought my lip to protect the original bumper.. it's worked so far.... now about those rock chips.... ._.
