Thanks! The I am second is about me wanting to live like Jesus did.. a servant life... aka Second. So, I don't need to be the fastest, the best or anything, but I want to live to serve. If you google it there is a cool web page about it too.

and then give me some pointers on how to do it? i already have my windows done after spending a few hundred dollars...and i have to stress that no one go where i went..
but i want to do a strip across my windshield and maybe my headlights thisd summer...
and also save money on my next car -__-
I've tinted all of my cars with ebay tint (I can't say the first few turned out too pretty) and my one car I had for a little over two years and it still looked like the day I put it on. Like I said earlier, the trick is to get "name brand" tint with a warranty, otherwise if you go with the super cheap stuff.. you get funky stuff. It's amazing how many different grades of tint there are.

It's not bad it you are going to do a sunstrip. They sell a "sunstrip" kit at places like advanced auto, where it is a long piece of tint that is like 5 inches, or so, wide. They dont cost much, so it is definitely worth experimenting with. The only things you really need are Patience, tint, a squeegee, patience, a razor blade, patience, and warm water mixed with a little dish soap. Check out some youtube videos on how to tint. If you have a heat gun, it will make your life a little easier and it will turn out better. I was able to borrow one from the marketing department at my work, but I heard you can buy them for like $20.. let me know if you need help and I'll see what I can do.

Plasti dip is easy to work with, just make sure you dont get bubbles trapped under.. worst case scenario, you peel it off and re do... Click image for larger version.
