Anyways...this is the result of retrofitted Halogen assemblies...using TSX Clear lens projectors...and I also bought OEM Matsusheeta ballasts and Philips bulbs. The same equipment used on the Subaru production line with superior projectors! The only thing extra is the LED Halo rings. That was something I wanted. Attachment 112389
How much modification did you have to do to get the tsx projectors installed?

Well I'm glad in ran into this thread before I posted a new one. I have an '11 wrx with b.s bulbs. The so-called halogens(when I flip the lights on)look slightly better than the "tarter yellow" daytime running lights buts I am in desperate need of a brighter, whiter light set. I haven't purchased an access port yet and am wondering if I can safely remove the factory set without setting off computer errors and also what is recommended to replace them. My budget is $400. Help me find something better and brighter that will last. Thx

Also, can I go around the car and swap her nasty bulbs i.e, the tails, reverse, turn signals, and interior bulbs without creating errors? Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

If you think you can do it yourself, the TRS retro system is $370...

Bumping instead of starting a new thread.
Looking at retrofitting my 14 wrx. My question is simple and really aimed at someone who has experience with the TRS retro quick and STI HIDs
What's better: STI with tsx lenses or morimoto mini ds2 which are bi-zenon?
