1400 miles paint looks sandblasted

i wonder if evo paint is better? hate hearing these stories. hopefully they will do 1 and half coats of paint on the new models lol. my 02 clear coat must be thick haha

I have a 2013 WRX that is 4 months old. We just finished a trip last weekend and we have a total of 2,100 miles on the car. No complaints except for the crappy standerd shifter and the the sandblasting along the sides of the car. We bought two new Impreza, my 2013 WR Blue WRX and a 2013 White 2.0. The paint on the 2.0 looks to be thicker, but the WR Blue looks thinner then cheap typing paper. I am going to take it into the dealer and see what they say, but I don't have high hopes.

Could be the difference between the satin stage on the SWP and the WRB paint. SWP is also a 3 stage paint, Satin white, Pearl coat, then clean coat. Is the WRB a peal effect as well?

I am actually thinking of installing a paint room in my garage and then I can respray my car every night before I cook dinner
