As my other thread said, I had a damaged gas door that I have been working on. The blue I bought was supposed to match, but was off. The door is black and the silver is the same color as the OE wheels. I'm waiting on it to cure and to add a few coats of clear over it, thoughts so far?

I think it looks worse on the car than it did off the car. I really don't like CF very much. I've only seen 2 cars (maybe) that had CF accents that looked great. It either looks really great, or incredibly tacky.

I don't know yet, it was a temp thing since the other paint didn't match and I wasn't to sure what else to do. Everyone in person seems to like it so far though. I don't really care one way or the other, but getting an exact match isn't easy or cheap.

Get tints for your windows and plasti-dip your wheels black and it will go with the car better haha.
If its just a temporary solution I wouldnt worry about it too much.

Oh, I agree. I saw it on a BRZ & thought it looked out of place. It is just a taped onto the fuel door.
