Different fog lamp bezels/surrounds? Advice?

I have a 12 swp Limited sedan and saw a couple pics on the net of black fog lamp bezels/surrounds instead of swp. I think on the white it looks real good. Mostly, people are taking their oem ones and plastidip'n them. Although it seem super convenient, subaru parts sells brand new ones painted obsidian black for 46 bucks a piece. Rather than go through the hassle of spraying them you think it would be better to just buy a separate set in black? It makes sense to me, but the plastidip ones appear to have that flat black look. You think it would look stupid with a shiny obsidian black ones? I attatched a pic of somebody else's car where the bezels are plastidip'd

$7 for a can of Dip at the local hardware store...and a nice evening or weekend project?

I know which I'd choose.

But I do agree, that does look very good in that pic.

I did something like that, fog light covers, plastic hood scoop piece and side vents plasti dipped black. Gives the car a nice contrast.

Looks good! Makes it look like more of an opening in the bumper
