08 sti front end swap

Hey every one.

I really like the look of the 06-07 front end and was looking to put it on my 08 hatch. Has anyone heard or seen this done?

I think it would look bad ass. I know I would need the 06-07 hood,bumper and both front fenders, but just want to know if its been done.

I wouldn't unless you had a huge of disposable income. If that were the case, spend it on the huge gas price hike on CA.

There were a few build threads going from earlier models to the Hawkeyes and even then there was a bunch of fab work required. Keep in mind 02-07 shared the same chassis and it wasn't a direct swap. If I recall, basically the guy had to buy a wrecked Hawkeye and fab the entire front end together himself. Not worth it.

If you want a Hawkeye, sell your soft '08 model and buy a gently used Hawkeye.
