But I have to warn you. Its not night time thats the problem. At night I can see a glow in the dark toy a half mile away.
Its right before dusk thats the problem, its right when the glaring sunset is worst and any decreased visibility sucks the most.

But you gotta admit the red on a WR-Blue looks awesome. Smoke... kinda weird. My 2c.
And I thought there were sprays to smoke your tail lights?

Yes I did. They are quite hard to do and took my guy several hours to do.

There are a lot of articles on this subject.

The Eye and Night Vision | American Optometric Association

    "ILLUMINATION

Red light was used for illumination of the in post-World War II aircraft because it, like red goggles, did not degrade dark adaptation".

The Straight Dope: Why are red lights used in darkened control rooms and other low-light situations?

"Red light has minimal effect on night vision because its energy level is so low that the eye doesn't register it strongly enough to produce a compensatory reaction".

Please don't take this personally but this is an opinion and you are most certainly entitled to it. I just happen to disagree with it. The important part is that we all love Subaru's!

Not trying to be an ass, but it's not...It's not an opinion. Its fact. Untinted lights are going to be more visible than a tinted light, end of story. There's no opinion in that what-so-ever.

Once again, no....Tail light tint is not legal. Looking good is an opinion...

If someone rear ends you because your lights are all tinted out, actually it's your fault, and the officer will be sure to let you know when he/she sees your tail lights.

OK guys. I'm done arguing about this with you. I'm not here to have people's views shoved down my throat. I get the point. Let's move on.

Well, to be honest, it's a little annoying that you're taking something that is a true well known proven fact and saying that it's an opinion and that science is wrong.
