You must be borderline retarded to not understand what rambo is saying. He simply stated that you are making the road even mnore unsafe. You ever see those morons with bright ass xenon bulbs (or whatever the f*** they are, i.e. blue/white bulbs) that blind your ass when they get anywhere near you? More likely than not, you are one of these brotards, and some of us don't believe your word on them "being safe" & "adjusted correctly". Oh, yeah, "cool install, bro...."

I understand perfectly, I simply do not need to prove anything to him or you. They are installed properly I can assure you of that.

Wow.... So much for joining a Subaru forum, seems to me link a few people in here have way to much time on there hands to be debating things like this...... Enjoy gentlemen, I was only trying to share things I have done to my ride until someone took it personally.

I have better things to do with my time, then argue on a forum.....

The kit you linked to doesn't look like a retrofit. I am sure that these lights are blinding everyone else on the road. Thanks.

You should check out: The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications

It's still illegal because it's not DOT certified, but it's a lot better than sticking HID's in headlamps that was not designed for them. The retrofits include new projectors along with bulbs and ballasts. Expect so spend $300+ for a full retrofit kit.

You joined a forum where people actually like to do things properly. We're taking it personally due to the fact that the Headlamps actually get pointed at other people. How would you like it if someone pointed a laser straight at your eye? So expect some heat regarding this issue.

Though this quote is true, I am wondering about the beam pattern. The imprezzas now have Halogen projectors. Meaning unlike a standard bowl, the projector has a shield and then a lens to focus the light in the "Z" pattern. I would like to see if the HID kit would keep that pattern focused or not.

I have just picked up an 09 and have not driven it too much at night yet. I have heard a lot of people talk about the HID conversions on all sorts of vehicles. I was just curious as to how much they necessary/helpful. They are brighter and obviously help but is it worth the time and money? Does the white make it dramatically easier to see?
