The side mirror's on my '12 wrx are hideous, so I'm looking to see if anyone has put the sti mirrors on and if they wired them in to blink accordingly.
Depending on how much they are I may do the swap and wire them up.

I converted my 11 WRX mirrors to STI mirrors. You just need to add the LED signal lights and replace the mirror caps. It probably cost about $200.

Probably not but you could do a cool vinyl over it instead of painting to match your car.

If it were me, I would try to get JDM power folding mirrors. Those would be so handy in the tight city parking garages. I would totally buy that option if they were offered stateside.

No idea. I have a bugeye, so I would probably use different channels that you GR guys would, but asking the dealer is worth a shot. Places like Japanparts parts carry them, but since it's a direct JDM import, prices are astronomical. It probably wouldn't be cheap from the dealer either, if they could even order them.

You can just go to any parts dept and ask them for it.Or you could check out online parts sellers for Subaru. Most are run by dealerships.

So some digging around Japanparts.com got me this kit: Power Heated Mirror Kit. $1000 for the pair, and they come in any OEM color. HOWEVER! This is only one piece of the puzzle. You still need to get the wiring harness/switches for all of the functions.

Yeah, like I said, it would be cool to do, but it's so damn expensive. I wish it was a offered as an option in the US.

My OEM mirror caps had clearbra on them, too. That doesn't prevent you from switching them and now my new STI mirror caps have clearbra on them.
The power folding mirrors are not available in North America. You would have to order them from Japan, either new or off a wreck.
