You actually can't bake and pry these open either. The others that I've seen who have tried this took a dremel to them. I don't have a dremel on hand so I heated the lights in the oven then took a hot blade to score them until the split. Took forever but I'm really satisfied with the outcome.
I do not know if it is just my eyes.Maybe I have some sort of color deficiency,but your reply boxes are appear to be in a green background & your font is is black.

Took my own stab at doing this. All satin black with Metalcast Shadow on the reflectors and VHT Nite-shades red on the individual LED bulbs.
