One way or another tinting the front does reduce visibility, especially at certain times of the day/night. I would suggest that some of it could depend on the type of roads you frequent. I live in an area where there is almost no lighting on streets so things get pretty pitch black, but I know more urban areas have well lit roads and in those areas tint makes less of a difference. I would suggest you take a look at some cars that have everything but the front tinted - the front looks about the same as the rest simply because there is less light inside the car. I'm not sure you gain a whole lot by adding a light tint (anything 40% and up).

I live in the suburbs where most streets are well lit. The few times I've traveled up north, where it's dark, it's often too dark...

yeah i found a place for 300 will do a 20% tint on all windows with a lifetime warranty, so im planning on doing that soon

Took this yesterday after I got home from the shop. 20% back 35% front windows. Got it done for 80 bucks, and he did a great job. In OC that's unheard of - the local shop here would have "laser cut" and charged me 250.

Wow I know my city is horrible lol they charge you extra to find legal tint here, it seems as though 5% everyone has it even the police. But the surrounding counties its a 200$ fine. Does anyone have 15% all around on a 4dr? TN legal limit is 35%

getting my tint saturday. i have an 02 wrx but ill post some pics just so everyone can see how the percentages look. getting 5% front window strip. 20% front windows and 15%rear windows

this is the 08, same body just dont look at the fenders. This is 4% on SWP. It is getting redone after the body gets repainted thanks to the winter.

You're from Michigan, huh? I've never seen your car around. I drive around Detroit and near 16 mile quite a bit. Where'd you get your tints done at, btw?
