Has anyone got an SWP with just the rear windows tinted? CA is broke as ever and really hitting tickets hard lately... My 135 is out of ticket extensions as it is ):/
5% all rear, 18% front driver and passenger, 35% windshield
It's great! lol.. The only problem I see is when it's in that hour before it gets dark it's a little difficult to see when you are driving towards the sun but fine everywhere else. Can't really explain it without you seeing it in person.
Thanks for the posts. I am getting mine done tomorrow, hopefully stay in the 30 to 35% range. The guy that normally tints my cars always try's to talk me into darker so I am going to have to stand my ground.
Had to post another pic of my tints. Got my bike rack installed and had a good photo opportunity.

everyones tint looks great. cant wait to get mine done soon. theres a few local places around me in PA that tint well and have lifetime guarantees.my friends shop will do it for 200 so thats looking like my best option. i plan on getting a 5% front window top strip, 35% front windows and 20% rear window and back window. will post pics when i get it done. possibly before spring also tiniting my tail lights tomorrow
This is my second car with the windshield tinted. It's not that big of a deal. Having your windshield tinted is like having your sunglasses on while driving in a car with the windshield not tinted. Your eyes adjust very quickly. However if you are going to tint your windshield I wouldn't go lower than 45%. Unfortunately I forgot the % tint I had on my z before I bought the wrx and thought I had 35% but when I got the car I realized it was a little dark. But now that I'm used to it it's completely fine.
