Just something different it's not the final product lol it's just an addiction. But yeah the roof, trunk and hood are matte black. Thought I would try it out for a while.

Not my thing. Though, I'd take it back and tell them they painted the front bumper wrong.

I believe he's referring to the inside part of the lower grille, which should have remained black (unpainted).

    I actually really like it.

Only things about it I personally don't like are the tail overlays (I would've left reverse clear) and that one part of the front bumper should be black (as previously mentioned). I do really like the look of it though.

Because it's different I give you kudos.

But personally I don't like it. The only time I think the hood and trunk look good when they're a different color than the body is when it's carbon fiber. Even then it's odd looking to me though.

Although I know this isn't the case (so please don't be offended), when I see this it makes me think that the owner doesn't understand what carbon fiber is and thinks that just having a black hood or trunk is what the cf look is all about. Around here I see lots of beat-up crap cars (like circa 1990 Ford Feistas and Nissan Sentras) that have black hoods for seemingly no reason at all.

But overall I really like the black, just not as a mis-match.

Originally racing hoods were painted matte black so that sunlight didn't reflect into the driver's eyes. Nobody does that anymore because there would be that much less room for sponsor decals and that is of greater benefit to the team.
