This is a discussion on I can see the back of my car now... Debadge within the Exterior & Appearance forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; So, Took off the IMPREZA, SUBARU, and AWD badges. Looks much better. I didn't use a heat source... the extension ...
So, Took off the IMPREZA, SUBARU, and AWD badges. Looks much better. I didn't use a heat source... the extension cord was knotted. I had some floss, stubby finger nails and finger tips, and a thing of goo be gone.
For some reason the IMPREZA was much much harder to get off. The badges on my left pulled the goo with them. Not so much the IMPREZA on the right. Oh well.
Bring a chair. Kneeling for longer than expected on gravel in coarse gravel is no fun.
Took some pictures in case anybody is interested for reference. A LOT of pictures... who doesn't like pictures anyhow? First time posting off photobucket, so excuse any issues:

I'd suggest taking off some of them, it looks much cleaner. If they hadn't pushed the point with the "AWD" badge, I may have just left the others on. I can't take off the STi though, that's like 90hps there.... And it looks weird to me without some type of badge.
Now I just need to find a plate frame that doesn't suck.

The local Giant Eagle opened a bottle shop inside of it. Needless to say, I'm like a fat kid in a candy shop when I find a bottle shop.
I'm pretty happy with the stuff. I'm surprised I like the porter as much as I do. Normally more of a pale ale kinda guy. I realized by the time I finished debadging the car, washing it, then doing the wheels and windows... I had forgotten to eat dinner and was much more disoriented than I thought I was. Whoops.
Sam adam's glasses are great with the stuff. Brings out the smell and flavors a lot with the darker beers.

I completely debadged mine, and I think it looks so much better from the back. If I had an STI I would've left that on, but the WRX just threw off the beautiful symmetry of the car from the back.
